Privacy, in plain language

Browsing the site

• No account, no login, no advertising trackers.
• Your searches and filters — the day, ages, themes — stay in your browser. We don't save them to your identity, because we don't have one for you.
• If you use Near me, your location is read by your browser and used on your device to sort results by distance. It is never sent to us and never stored.
• Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap, which will see your IP address as part of loading them.

What we do collect

Being straight about this matters more than sounding clean:

• If you list an activity, we store what you type into that form, including the email address you give us, so we can reply and check the listing.
• If you report a problemwith a listing, we store your note. Please don't include personal details in it — we only need to know what's wrong.
• Search requestsare rate-limited using your IP address, held briefly in memory to stop automated abuse. It isn't written to our database or tied to your searches.
• Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as any website does.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Plausible) to count things like how many people searched and which searches found nothing — so we know what to add to the catalog. It sets no cookies, follows no one between sites, and builds no profile of you. That is also why you aren't being asked to dismiss a cookie banner.

Your data, and getting in touch

If you've sent us a submission or a report and want a copy of it or want it deleted, email us and we'll do it. Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it.

About the listings themselves

Most listings come from public sources such as OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps, and we mark those as basic listings because nobody on our team has checked them. Details like prices and opening hours may be out of date — please confirm with the venue before you travel.
